Metal-Elf's ElfQuest Pages

ElfQuest in Germany

Very special thanks to Wendy and Richard for coming to Hamburg, Germany this year.
Enjoyed it very much.
Also special thanks to Carlsen Comics to pay for their expensive trip.

After a break of serveral years ElfQuest was back in Germany in spring 1997. The publisher for the new series is Carlsen Comics. Though, first all the old issues are reprinted and after this there will be the new ones. So the German fans have to wait a while before getting new stuff.

The new series has some pages which weren't in the old Bastei series, so we can call it "ElfQuest - Uncut". Also the issues have a new translation, which is better. The old Bastei translation often was criticized by the fans because it seemed to be a bit to far direction childrens language. Also many errors were in it.

These points and also the fact that most Bastei editions meanwhile were only available for high collector's prices will hopefully make the ElfQuest reprints sell good enough. Though it won't be easy to join the former success again, after the long break...
